In honor of our anniversary, Teammates participate in WoodbridgeCARES Global Initiative
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada & TROY, Mich., Oct. 31, 2023 – Today marks Woodbridge’s 45th year of operation. To commemorate this special occasion, the company’s dedicated Teammates went out into their communities to spread The Woodbridge Way, which is based on the company’s core values and guiding principles that have been the cornerstone of our success since our inception in 1978.
Throughout the months of September and October, Teammates collaborated with WoodbridgeCARES, the company’s charitable arm, to recognize this milestone in our history with a global initiative through volunteerism and philanthropy. With a “45” theme in mind, Teammates engaged in a variety of activities, all of which aimed to give back to the community. Some of these activities included planting trees, which will contribute to the environment for years to come, cleaning up neighborhoods and parks, and donating food to those in need. Clothes, shoes, books, and toys were collected and donated to various organizations that help the less fortunate. The aim was to make a positive impact on society and show appreciation for everything Woodbridge has been able to achieve over the past 45 years.
To celebrate 45 years of being in business, the company created a video documenting the WoodbridgeCARES event Teammates participated in, well-wishes provided by our global Teammates, and special messages from Bob Beamish, Woodbridge founder, and Kai Jacobsen, President and CEO.
