MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada & TROY, Mich., August 30, 2023 – Woodbridge has been named a 2023 Sustainability Award winner by the Business Intelligence Group (BIG). This award honors those who have made sustainability an integral part of their business practice. Woodbridge was acknowledged for its TrimVisible™ BIO sustainable foam solution, which was named a Sustainability Product of the Year.
“TrimVisible BIO is the result of Woodbridge’s leading science know-how and the entire team's passion for making our products more sustainable. I am very proud of what we have accomplished thus far,” Shlomo Bibas, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, said. “Creating sustainable products is a top priority at Woodbridge. Being recognized with this award validates that our sustainability agenda efforts are driving meaningful results in our environment.”
The sustainable foam, TrimVisible BIO, displaces petroleum-based materials in polyurethane seating foam to produce net CO2 zero foam and reduces Woodbridge’s overall CO2 footprint. This patent-pending product enables a cradle-to-gate reduction in CO2 footprint without compromising material properties, performance, and comfort.
BIG was founded with the mission of recognizing true talent and superior performance in the business world. The proprietary and unique scoring system selectively measures performance across multiple business domains and then rewards those companies whose achievements stand above those of their peers.
